Nope, true. Filmmakers are free to find other sources of funding. It appears there is a loophole.
But my question is: WHY should creative thinkers HAVE to look for "creative loopholes?"
Shouldn't the zeitgeist ENCOURAGE free-thinking?
I guess we all know the answer to THAT.
