Palin for VP -- brilliant
Instapundit has an excellent roundup of reactions.
I think it's an excellent choice.
Aside from the obvious political points -- slap in the face to Obama for not picking Hillary, her inexperience neutralized by Obama's own -- she's anti-establishment, smart, a family woman and a leader who gets things done.
I've gone from dreading this election to relishing it.

Easy on the eyes, too.
Not that the whole shebang should be decided because of that.
I'm just sayin'
:P
Yep, I hear ya *grin* -- quite a contrast to her running mate!
haha
you're not kidding :P
I love this girl! The question is whether enough Americans still exist who understand what she is. Too many already have no idea what Osama Barka is.
McCain? ....
Dag,
The idea that Palin is, in fact, the VP choice, is still kind of new. It's coupled with an instant understanding that this is a can-do kind of person.
For real. She gets things done. Leader-wise. Forget about the hour-glass template.
Exciting? Geddoudaheah. Yeah, BAYBEE .... :)

Translation: Gov. Sarah Palin has proven she is a viable candidate as a potential leader of the United States. Quite a number of people are energized by John McCain's choice of her as a running mate.
****
;)
I got some bad hurts in the leg over the years but I'm dancin'!
Private dancin' is the same as the real deal, my friend, :) Doing a bit of both, me and you, methinks!
